Philadelphia Trombone Week
We are pleased to invite you to the inaugural Philadelphia Trombone Week hosted by the Curtis Institute of Music. This 5 day intensive features the Philadelphia Orchestra trombone section and members of the greater Philadelphia trombone community, along with guest artist Sasha Romero. This program is targeted towards college students to streamline their education into the world of orchestral trombone.
Cost for Tuition: $500
Includes 1 meal per day
Applicants may be considered for need-based scholarships. Please include this in your application.
Sample Schedule:
9:00am: Warm-up class
10:00am: Masterclass
12:30pm: Lunch
1:30pm: Trombone Choir
2:30pm: Section Play-in/Special Event
4:00pm: Lessons/Free time
7:00pm: Faculty Recital
